I’m Don Pelliccia Jr., a St. Augustine Florida-based nature and landscape photographer creating fine art images of the Southeast’s wild places, from ancient live oaks and blackwater swamps to coastal shorelines, wetlands, wildlife, and mountain landscapes.

I’m especially drawn to ancient oaks, blackwater swamps, and the quiet beauty of Florida’s wetlands. My vision is to create unique and compelling compositions that use light, texture, and color to translate the quiet strength of the landscape into timeless imagery.

From scouting locations and anticipating the right light and conditions to crafting each archival print, I truly enjoy every stage of the creative process. For me, the finished print is where the image fully comes to life—an essential extension of the work itself.
